Most of us know that what we eat and drink is a very important aspect in the maintenance of good health. But when and how frequently we eat can be just as important in helping to lose weight and stay healthy.

Remember the old adage; “Breakfast like a King, Lunch like a Prince and Supper like a pauper”.

Also, the best time to eat and drink is AFTER exercise, NOT BEFORE - and try to avoid eating too late in the evening –many people have successfully lost several pounds simply by cutting out late night snacks.

Some recent research has also suggests that certain foods or drinks can boost your performance while working out, the most readily available of these being coffee; a strong cup of coffee 20 min before working out is reputed to help increase your ability to cope with the demands of your workout and possibly perform slightly better too.

If you’re a coffee aficionado you may be interested to learn that at Studio35 in Rayleigh we offer free coffee (or tea) on every visit.

But of course, you should still drink plenty of water during your work-out to stay hydrated. All of the body’s cells require water to function efficiently. So bring your water-bottles and we’ll fill them before each work-out.
