Often, when you feel a slight hunger pang, what your body is actually telling you is that it is thirsty.

So when you get the mid-morning munchies, instead of visiting the vending machine, try walking to the drinking fountain to get a cup of water or two and see if this satisfies your stomach.

This will not only help to re-hydrate the body but water is required to help metabolise your food effectively so this may help you to manage your weight too!
